OUR SERVER

ok guys i got good news....i looked up online to buy a new server so we have a very good and fun time and i came to this conclusion...

NO ONE NEEDS TO DONATE FOR A NEW SERVER (temporarily)

well the reason why is because i have money saved up to buy the server....
its not a official server...but a gaming comp so it can be changed to a server...

the specs of the new server:
Visionman Intel Gaming PC - Intel Pentium Dual Core E2180, 2GB DDR2-667, NVIDIA 8600GT 512MB DX10, 250GB SATA-2, 20X DL Lightscribe DVDRW, Media Reader, Logitech Speakers, No OS, 585 Watt PSU

so basicaly by next week ill be able to get this bad boy install everything on it and have the server running...
if you would like to know the price....its $600 and ill hopefully have that buy next week and i will be able to run our server of that...yes this is no lie im not making no one pay for something that is my responsibility...

i guess no donations is kinda good offset by the later release date

this is nick...sry for latening the opening of the server but i had a bit of a problem with the comp i was gonna use to run server....but now i got a better one in a week... :p

sry for the delay people but hey so far we dont need to worry for now...
the only donations we will need is for the second server...yes there will be 2 servers....but now no need for money

well also i will need a very important desicion....

SHOULD WE HAVE A 3RD HOST COMP....i dont no about it cause we will have 2 so far...but 3 is wat im trying to get for a better all around game play... do hit your thoughts here and ill get to you guys soon!

A third host computer resulting in 3 servers? Sounds nice... 2 is good enough for now though. If we get a 3rd I think we should wait a bit.

See if we can handle without 3 first... Most servers have about 2 anyway. o:

MapleGeek doesn't even have 3 servers, if we get that, then erm, we're pretty much sure to be on top 10. We just need more developers rather than myself and Nick. I still don't know how to make an NPC that does something like:

Where do you wish to go?
*option 1
*option 2
*option 3
etc...

If anybody could teach me or rather send me a guide it'd be really helpful

Anyways, great that the server's paid for, but i wouldn't mind donating still.

Nobody would mind being a GM. :3 ... But by the looks of it, Dom isn't getting anything. I doubt he'll even come back to this forum rofl. Also, to me it doesn't even sound like he understands English well since his post did not make much sense and came across to me like he thought the server was released already? o-o;
